Expensive bits of kit, them, college have got a few sets of Vdrums, but as they're only the cheap ones they don't sound as good as they could. _________________ I am your lord & master & you shall do as I say |

I'd lend you five grand if I had it... Unless I spent it on an Aga but first I'd need a "suitable external wall", apparently... _________________ Peace and love |

There's that, too... Apparently they now produce an Aga powered by electricity which, obviously, doesn't need a flue and can be situated anywhere sufficiently load-bearing but somehow putting "Aga" and "electricity" in the same sentence just seems horribly wrong... _________________ Peace and love |

Yep, those are words which fail to go together... but in breaking news:
Today I went to the Aga shop in Knightsbridge and am now the proud owner of an Aga

KETTLE!!!
See, around Christmas time my old kettle got too leaky to cope with (the water ran out of the bottom faster than it poured out of the spout) so I started looking for a replacement while using a saucepan as a temporary measure.
You'd think that finding a kettle would be an easy job but of the very few I found which are for using on the hob (hate electric kettles!) NONE were in the slightest bit attractive to my eyes except this one and now I've got it
Now I must just remember not to stroke it lovingly while it is hot... _________________ Peace and love |
